Job summary

Pepsi MidAmerica in Marion, IL is seeking a experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations. You will ensure schedules are executed, lines stay running, and SOPs are followed to uphold safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will mentor teams, drive efficiency, monitor KPIs, and continuously improve processes. This is a day-shift role with competitive compensation and benefits including health insurance, a 401(k) plan, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Knowledge of operations management and production processes.
• Familiarity with business and manufacturing principles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all production operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Oversee daily production schedules to meet operational goals.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
• Maintain materials, monitor inventory levels, and oversee production efficiency.
• Develop strategic and operational objectives aligned with company SOPs.
• Perform quality control checks and monitor production KPIs.
• Train, mentor, and supervise production staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and workflow.
