Job summary

Creative Foam seeks a Production Supervisor to organize, direct and control the activities of production employees. You will own the shop schedule, ensure on-time completion and shipping with quality and cost controls, and maintain compliance with policies.

You will train wage staff, monitor materials and equipment, and coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Shipping and Sales to support company objectives while ensuring a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising wage employees in a production setting.
• Ability to maintain production records and schedules.
• Knowledge of safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Strong communication with Production, Quality, Engineering and Shipping.

Responsibilities

• Owns and manages daily shop schedule to meet production and shipment commitments.
• Assigns, trains, coaches, and directs wage employees in production and quality procedures.
• Monitors material, tooling, equipment, staffing to prevent delays.
• Maintains documentation and ensures adherence to company policies.
• Approves wage time records and production logs.
• Oversees operations, implements process changes and prevents losses or hazards.
• Communicates status, changes, downtime and priorities to the Production Manager.
• Collaborates with Quality, Engineering, Shipping and Sales to support objectives.
