Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education or degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in manufacturing, production, logistics, operations, or a related industry.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting production deadlines.
• Knowledge of production workflow, job setup, scheduling, and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations: train, coach, coordinate staff and program participants; organize workflow and workstation setup; monitor quality and conduct first-piece inspections; coordinate labor resources and schedules; support work instruction implementation and continuous improvements; maintain production documentation.
• Develop teams: mentor staff and program participants; collaborate with managers to support goals and workplace success; identify training opportunities; onboard new team members; foster an inclusive work environment.
• Ensure safety, quality & compliance: promote safety culture; ensure compliance with standards; monitor inventory and materials; report issues promptly; maintain clean work areas; oversee hazardous waste procedures.
• Administrative and operational support: prepare production and labor reports; coordinate shipment prep with Logistics; assist management with staffing and planning; support departmental objectives.
• Medicaid Qualified Programs: complete required service documentation and maintain necessary certifications.
