Job summary

Ardent Mills in Culpeper, VA is hiring a Production Associate (Utility Operator) for the Day Shift (7 AM–3 PM). This full-time role focuses on maintaining sanitary conditions, supporting multiple plant positions, and learning through on-the-job training.

You will perform routine cleaning, assist with basic process maintenance, and follow safety policies while working with a team. The position offers competitive pay, a performance bonus, benefits, PTO, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Basic computer knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs and outside grounds.
• Specialized cleaning tasks such as bin cleaning, sifter, filter sock changes.
• Basic process maintenance and cross-training in other operator roles.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; ensure PPE usage and proper attire.
• Ascend/descend stairs, climb ladders, and perform duties in a safe manner.
