Job summary

K Dakota Ethanol in Wentworth, SD is seeking a Plant Operator to operate plant equipment, boilers, and DCS control, with rotating day/night shifts. You will perform QC analysis to ensure optimal plant performance and maintain water chemistry.

This role requires attention to safety and process discipline. Join a growing ethanol producer offering 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am), $24–$26 per hour DOE, a $3.00/hour night differential, and a $2,000 new hire bonus, plus benefits including health insurance

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education, technical trade certificate, or process operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant environment with potential hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment, boilers, and DCS control systems.
• Conduct QC analyses and monitor water chemistry for optimal plant performance.
• Load trucks and ensure timely delivery of products and co-products.
• Maintain logs and communicate shift changes to oncoming operators.
• Adhere to safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
