Job summary

PLZ Corp. is seeking a dependable janitorial/facilities associate in Pacific, Missouri to support daily cleaning and sanitation across production and office areas.

The role involves routine housekeeping, breakdown and restocking of restrooms, offices, and common spaces, with adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements. Responsibilities include trash removal, floor care, chemical handling, and reporting maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Safety PPE and sanitation procedures must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas throughout the plant and offices.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain general housekeeping.
• Clean production, warehouse, and facility areas as assigned following safety requirements.
• Operate janitorial and floor care equipment when trained.
• Safely store and handle cleaning chemicals per SDS and labels.
• Identify and report safety hazards and spills.
• Support basic facility upkeep and seasonal exterior housekeeping.
• Monitor supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
