Job summary

Our Client in Laconia, NH is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant for a permanent, on-site role. You will implement treatments under a supervising PTA, deliver therapeutic exercise, gait and balance activities, and document progress to support daily independence for residents.

In this direct-hire position, scheduling is Monday–Friday with 30–35 hours per week, day shifts 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, clear communication, and adherence to safety standards

Qualifications

• Must have NH PTA licensure or eligibility and complete required clinical qualifications.
• Strong clinical reasoning and clear communication with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to implement and document care under a supervising physical therapist.
• Adhere to safety standards and credential requirements while providing quality care.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment established by the supervising PTA and support mobility and functional goals.
• Provide planned therapeutic exercises, gait and balance activities within scope.
• Observe patient responses, document progress and communicate changes to the supervising PTA.
• Explain techniques clearly to patients and caregivers to ensure safe participation.
• Collaborate with rehab and care teams to connect goals with daily activities.
