UT Health Pittsburg Hospital in Pittsburg, TX is seeking a Day shift, PRN Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing medications and handling pharmacy operations. Under supervision, you will join a team focused on reliability, punctuality and quality, with opportunities to maintain sterile IV compounding competencies.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required and active Pharmacy Technician registration where state law requires.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is required or must be obtained prior to direct patient care.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
Ability to work under supervision and participate as part of a reliable pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing.
Support pharmacy operations and collaborate with pharmacists and team members.
Maintain competency in sterile IV medication compounding as needed.
Demonstrate reliability and punctuality as a member of the pharmacy team.
