Job summary

SGMC Health in Langdale Place is seeking a dedicated CNA-oriented caregiver for a Full Time 8-hour day shift (7am–3pm) in our Langdale Personal Care unit. You will provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring dignity and comfort while adhering to state guidelines.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification, strong communication, and flexibility in scheduling. Training is ongoing; opportunities for growth and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• CNA preferred; CPR/First Aid certified.
• Recent Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills required; follow instructions.
• Able to communicate clearly with residents and staff.
• Flexibility in scheduling and assignments.
• Evidence of good personal health and hygiene.
• Annual skills assessment and training required.
• Operates IPADS, medication tablets, intercom, calculator and beeper.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• 16 hours in-service training required.
