Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a CVSU Patient Care Technician for the Dayshift at Baptist Medical Center South. You will support the patient care team and assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians with routine tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma; CNA program preferred; one year of patient care experience preferred. BLS certification is required and training will be provided. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant program or Health Occupations Program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student or 1 year of patient care experience in acute care, nursing home or home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and vitals as directed.
• Support basic care tasks and monitor patient conditions as assigned.
