Job summary

Premier Health Partners’ Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to work the 7 PM to 7:30 AM shift in the Medical IP Unit. The PCT assists nurses and doctors with basic patient care and monitoring.

Responsibilities include checking vitals, helping with mobility, meals and hygiene, collecting samples, and reporting changes to a nurse. Training outlines include high school diploma and BLS CPR; no prior experience required if one of approved trainings is completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required or provided at orientation.
• No prior healthcare experience required, but related coursework helps.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and doctors with patient care tasks.
