Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) to support RN-driven patient care on a busy 16-bed surgical unit. You will assist with vital signs, ADLs, transfers, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for patients.

Work days from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. Minimum qualifications include HS diploma or GED and BLS; STNA preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross within the new hire period.
• Nursing students may substitute clinical rotation for experience.
• Military medical roles may be considered for equivalency.
• STNA preferred for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and ADLs.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient conditions to an RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Nursing students rotation substitution accepted

Military medical experience considered

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred
