48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Salem, OR to set up and operate power saws, cutting and trimming wood pallets to specification. You will be part of our pallet manufacturing process and work a Monday–Friday shift.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, can lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate effectively with plant management, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and move pallets weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse/construction environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to communicate effectively with plant management.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate regularly with plant management.
• Work overtime as needed.
