Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice and individualized care.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting diverse populations and cultures.
• Partners with patient and significant others using bedside shift reports, rounds, and patient teaching.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards.
• Coordinates safe, quality care and fosters interdisciplinary communication.
• Contributes to performance improvement and protocol development with care teams.
