Job summary

Inova Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center is hiring a Full-Time, seasoned Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts at our Leesburg, VA campus. The role emphasizes scrub and circulating duties, patient advocacy, and maintaining a sterile OR environment.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year OR nursing experience, with 2+ years in SCRUB/CIRCULATING in an ASC preferred. Virginia RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year operating room nursing experience required.
• Two or more years of adult scrub and/or circulating experience in an ASC highly desired.
• Current RN license in Virginia and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate/Scrub surgical procedures including GI/Endo.
• Provide communication between OR team and outside staff.
• Maintain sterile environment during procedures.
• Document sponge/sharps and instrument counts.
• Complete intra-operative documentation.
• Advocate for patient during the OR stay.
• Assist with room turnover and setup of sterile supplies.
