Job summary

Lexington Health in Columbia, SC seeks an Anesthesia Technician to assist in the OR, OB, and other anesthesia-supported locations. You will perform daily room checks, prepare carts and machines, and support CRNAs and anesthesiologists under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and basic computer skills, with responsibilities extending to equipment maintenance, inventory checks, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• CPR Certification or course completed within one year.
• Basic computer skills are needed for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Check all OR rooms daily for cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Clean and check anesthesia carts and machines per protocol.
• Maintain the Anesthesia Work Room in an organized state.
• Assist CRNAs and anesthesiologists during procedures as needed.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and notify when items are low or out of service.
• Document departmental activities clearly and promptly.
