Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for the Night Shift to assist licensed providers with patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems. You will help acquire, prepare, assemble, and apply equipment for anesthesia and support attending anesthesiologists, residents and CRNAs across all ages.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; one year of direct patient care in healthcare or related experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) within two

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a healthcare facility or related setting.
• BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed anesthesia providers in preparation and maintenance of monitoring devices and delivery systems.
• Assist in acquisition, preparation, assembly and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Support anesthesiologists, residents and CRNAs across patient age ranges from infancy to geriatrics.
