Job summary

Conway Medical Center in South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. This full-time, first-shift (days) position involves providing and coordinating care for surgical patients, administering medications, and supporting the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.

Required active SC nursing licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1–2 years OR or acute care experience; CNOR preferred. On-call rotation is required, with opportunities to lead and mentor staff as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact-state RN license in good standing
• Two years acute care experience (preferred)
• One year operating room experience (preferred)
• BSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Must rotate through on-call schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide, plan, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff; act as team leader or charge nurse.
• Assist other units and cooperate with co-workers, physicians, and department heads.
• Use nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care based on patient assessment and response to care.
• Support on-call obligations and ensure patient safety across case load.
