Job summary

Indiana University Health System's Schwarz Cancer Center is hiring for a Day Shift Registered Nurse (FT or PT) on the North Campus. No weekends, holidays, or on-call. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

ASN is required; BSN is preferred. Active RN license in Indiana or NLC is needed. BLS certification through the AHA is required; other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions possible with >2 years acute care experience.
• BLS certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based nursing care along the care continuum.
• Participate in assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care.
• Mentor and teach colleagues while adhering to ANA scope and standards.
