Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) in Virginia Beach seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing and laboratory teams, ensuring safe, timely patient care and compliant operations. You will oversee dosing, coordinate with clinicians, and foster a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

The role requires an RN/LPN in Virginia, CPR/First Aid, and at least 1 year in substance abuse treatment; offers a schedule Mon-Fri with a rotating Saturday, plus a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

Valid RN or LPN/LVN license in Virginia.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Minimum of one year of experience in substance abuse treatment and administration.
Advanced knowledge of medication-assisted treatment.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day nursing and lab operations to ensure high-quality care.
Assess patient dosing needs and administer methadone per protocols.
Collect urine specimens.
Coordinate care with physicians, counselors, and community providers.
Foster a patient-centered, respectful environment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
