Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Appropriate professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Direct provision of patient care and assist manager with daily operations.
• Coordinate patient care/outcomes, allocation of resources, communications, and patient throughput.
• Rounding on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care and department operations.
• Delegate care tasks to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
• Support staffing coordination and monitoring of outcomes and performance.
