Job summary

RLS Radiopharmacies is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacist to supervise day shift operations, ensure sterile compounding quality, and accurately dispense radiopharmaceuticals close to the point of care.

The role requires a Pharm.D. (or Pharm.D. candidate), licensure eligibility, and authorization to use radioactive materials; you will train staff, oversee leukocyte labeling, quality control, safety training, and compliant waste handling.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy and current intern licensure/permit.
• Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice pharmacy.
• Authorized user of radioactive materials (ANP or BCNP) as required.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies compliance with regulations, policies and safety rules.
• Process and review customer orders from receipt through packaging.
• Accurately set up and compound radiopharmaceuticals.
• Direct shift activity and supervise staff per policy.
• supervise leukocyte labeling procedures.
• Handle, package and deliver radiopharmaceuticals and hazardous materials.
• Monitor inventory and maintain supplies.
• Perform or supervise equipment tests and record results.
• Perform quality control tests on prepared products.
• Provide training to employees on regulations and safety.
• Manage radioactive waste disposal and paperwork.
• Oversee radiation wipes and surveys on containers and spaces.
• Participate in maintaining a safe work environment and training.
