Job summary

Lynx EMS is seeking a Day Shift Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Driver to support daytime transport operations between homes, clinics, and hospitals. You'll work with EMTs and medical staff to move patients safely and comfortably during scheduled appointments, discharges, and interfacility transfers.

Qualifications

• Clean background check and driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and move without restrictions.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
• EMT certification not required; great for aspiring EMTs.

Responsibilities

• Assist EMTs with non-emergency transports during daytime operations.
• Safely transport non-ambulatory and mobility-assisted patients.
• Load, secure, and unload patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and safety equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and professionalism at all times.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and inspection-ready vehicle and equipment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, facilities, patients, and team members.
