Wacker Chemical Corporation USA is seeking a Multi-Craft Technician (Day Shift) in Charleston, TN. The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance of DISCO-related mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring reliability and safety across processing units.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience in maintenance within chemical/manufacturing settings, and the ability to read drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred in Industrial Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
• 3+ years of experience in technical/production environment, plus 3+ years in maintenance.
• Repair experience with pumps, motors, valves, instrumentation and gear drives.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a chemical/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventive, routine and emergency maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Support startup, commissioning and operations to ensure uptime and safety.
• Maintain equipment with calibration, inspection reports, and proper documentation.
• Adhere to safety policies and work in cross-functional teams.
