The Dixon Group is seeking a Welder to join our Houston production team. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on specialized industrial fluid transfer products, read blueprints, and ensure weld quality while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a formal vocational/technical welding program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience in a production setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols and schematics.
• Must be able to lift/move materials and stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform production-level MIG and TIG welding on industrial fluid transfer products.
• Use torches to cut metals and grind surfaces; prepare bevels and fit parts
• Complete pre-weld prep such as sandblasting and machining to ensure weld quality.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and inspect welds for quality assurance.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on welding equipment.
