iWorkforce Solutions in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a MetalFabricator/Painter to safely fabricate, assemble, and paint components per engineering specs. Day shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with overtime; pay range $21–$26/hr.

Responsibilities include cutting, welding, finishing, and surface prep while maintaining 5S/Lean practices. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of fabrication experience, plus experience with measuring tools and painting prep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience; 2+ years preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience using measuring tools.
• Experience with industrial painting and surface preparation (sprayers, brushes, rollers, spray cans).
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and surface preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and material specs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and form sheet metal using shop equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate CNC and robotic fabrication equipment.
• Fit, assemble, tack-weld, and fasten sheet metal components.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and spot welding as required.
• Finish welds and surfaces per specifications.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures for inspections.
• Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, masking, sanding, blasting).
• Mix/apply primers, coatings, topcoats with spray equipment.
• Inspect fabricated/painted components and perform rework if needed.
• Maintain accurate work orders and inspection docs.
• Keep tools and area clean following 5S/Lean practices.
• Follow all policies including Stop Work Authority.
