Job summary

Twin City Fan is seeking an Industrial Painter for the day shift with entry-level pay starting at $19.00 per hour. The role involves painting metal and other surfaces, surface prep, color matching, and coordinating painting tasks while maintaining safety and clean work practices.

Responsibilities include documenting work, handling touch-ups, and adhering to company safety rules and core values. Some locations may require forklift or crane operation as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and understand shop orders and blueprints.
• Basic math skills for measurements and conversions.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Safe use of hand tools.
• May operate forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Applies solvent and water-based paints to metal and other surfaces using spray equipment.
• Prepares walls and other surfaces for painting.
• Makes on-site preparations such as covering fixtures and filling cracks with appropriate material.
• Responsible for mixing paints and matching colors.
• May perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects.
• Completes documentation and works in a timely manner.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas.

• Additional duties may be assigned depending on location and product line.
