Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
• No prior experience required; direct patient care in behavioral health is a plus.
• Maintain current CPR certification throughout employment.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors.
• Team-based approach to support safety and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks and follow guidelines.
• Know location and condition of all patients at all times.
• Ensure proper handoff of clinical information between shifts.
• Assist in managing behavior and preventing unsafe acts per guidelines.
• Support the multidisciplinary team to sustain a therapeutic setting.
