Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), St. Joseph's Highland is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician to perform routine and complex testing across all major clinical laboratory areas.

Under general supervision, you will help ensure accurate and valid test results that support diagnosis and treatment. The role requires an associate degree with NAACLS-accredited program or equivalent, and certification within 180 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required and successful completion of a NAACLS accredited medical laboratory technician program.
• Associate’s degree with 60 credits incl. 6 chem and 6 bio plus 50-week US military medical lab training or 60 credits with 6 chem and 6 bio plus 3 years full-time lab experience in last 10 years.
• Physician Enterprise: Associates degree in Laboratory Sciences required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex testing in all major clinical laboratory areas.
• Under general supervision, ensure accurate and valid test results to support diagnosis and treatment.
