Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves receiving, moving, staging, loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting materials across warehouse and manufacturing operations.

You will verify inventory, maintain accurate locations, and prepare materials for production or shipment. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, valid driver’s license, and basic Excel/PC proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, inventory control, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• Experience using ERP, barcode scanning, or inventory management software is preferred.
• Experience maintaining inventory records and processing warehouse transactions.
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and barcode systems.
• Create inventory locations and process barcode labels.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies using warehouse systems and reporting tools.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL).
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, scales, and other warehouse equipment.
• Reorganize inventory storage for optimal space utilization.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehouse, and distribution operations.
• Assist KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
