Job summary

Chipton-Ross, Inc. is seeking multiple Material Handlers for a contract opportunity in Hillsboro, OR. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving materials, and operating warehouse equipment.

The role requires 1–2 years of logistics experience and the ability to follow procedures, with shifts on 1st shift 06:00am-02:30pm. Candidates should be comfortable with temperature variations and able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years related experience in a warehouse/logistics role.
Experience in logistics with a life science company preferred.
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and meet schedules.
Proficient in operating powered industrial trucks; comfortable with heights.
Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage/shipment per procedures.
Receive materials daily; verify quality, type, amount, and documentation.
Work in warehouse with temps 59–86F, cold 36–46F, and/or freezer -4–23F.
Safely operate distribution equipment as required.
