Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler in Hillsboro, OR. The role involves receiving, moving, staging, loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting materials across warehouse and manufacturing operations.

You will verify inventory, maintain accurate locations, and prepare materials for production or shipment. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, valid driver’s license, and basic Excel/PC proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, inventory control, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Education Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive motions as required
• Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and mechanical hazards
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

What You Will Do

As a Material Handler you will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse or manufacturing operations. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures.

• Maintain and store files effectively.
• Create new locations in the ERP system.
• Process and print barcode labels.
• Maintain Data in KPI.
• Fill out complex forms in ERP systems such as NCM.
• Use various tools to research inventory discrepancies.
• Use critical thinking skills to find lost inventory.
• Reorganize inventory storage for maximum fit and distribution.
• Use Carrier related software and prepare BOL.
• Use Hand Trucks, Pallet jackets, and Scales safely and effectively.
• Repetitive motion of twisting and bending.
