Job summary

Great Connections Employment Services is hiring Forklift Operators for a leading automotive manufacturing site in Concord, ON. The role runs morning shifts from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $21/hr plus 4% vacation pay (total $21.84/hr).

Required are a Grade 12 or equivalent, English literacy, and valid forklift licenses (Counter Balance – Propane) and Reach Truck certification. Ideal candidates have 2 years in manufacturing and can work well in a team with strong safety

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Must have valid Fork Lift (Counter Balance – Propane) licence.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of operating a Tugger will be an asset– willing to work on Tugger to supply material from supermarket to production line.
• Frequent lifting is required.

Skills and Qualification Requirements: *

• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Must be helpful to others and open to criticism.
• Frequent lifting is required
