Job summary

SICK is seeking a Repair Technician I for our Minneapolis Campus, Monday through Friday on day shift. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and skilled repairs of complex production equipment to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, can read schematics, and communicate clearly in English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule if needed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and aptitude.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment performance, safety and effectiveness per procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain maintenance logs and work orders; update instructions as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety audits.
