Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the DAY SHIFT (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM). The technician will install and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to support production goals.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance and several years of maintenance experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.
• Computer usage and typing skills essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
• Collaborates well with others.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during operation.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance.
• Limited travel may be required.
