Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift on a 2/2/3 schedule (6:30am–6:30pm, every other weekend). The role focuses on installing and maintaining production equipment, performing preventative and reactive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates within quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have a two-year associates degree in Industrial Maintenance and several years of hands-on maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
• Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP and company policies and procedures.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders.
• Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
