Job summary

Professions-Inc in Kentucky (Walton area) seeks a Maintenance Technician for day shift to keep production equipment running and improved while the plant is awake. Responsibilities include preventive/predictive maintenance, downtime troubleshooting, machine upgrades, and CMMS documentation; you’ll support GMP sanitation and safety programs.

Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; skilled trade apprenticeship preferred; several years of manufacturing maintenance experience; rotating

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Skilled trade apprenticeship preferred (mechanical, electrical, machinist, pipefitter) but not required.
Several years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Able to work the day-shift rotating schedule and overtime when the plant needs it.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve conveyors, fillers, case equipment, palletizing, and other production line equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot downtime, and implement machine upgrades.
Document work in the CMMS so the night shift starts with full context and urgency minimized.
Support GMP sanitation and the plant safety program, including lockout/tagout and safeguarding checks.
