Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a maintenance technician for our Phoenix, AZ area operations. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining aluminium extrusion production equipment, motors, and conveyors.

You will perform electrical tasks, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and ensure safety through proper lockout/tagout. The position offers a dayshift schedule, opportunities to contribute to reliability improvements, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (prefered).
Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience (preferred).
Ability to read and use a tape measure (feet & inches).

Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and extrusion production machines.
Performs electrical changes to blown fuses and wire plugs.
Repairs electrical wiring and changes hydraulic filters.
Troubleshoots mechanical devices such as presses and draw benches.
Performs lockout/tagout procedures per policy.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensions.
Adjusts functional parts and control instruments.
Replaces defective parts and lubricates/cleans components.
Contributes to continuous reliability improvements of equipment.
