Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or Trade/Vocational School Diploma in Carpentry or related program.
• Minimum 5 years carpentry experience with thorough knowledge of carpentry tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties including building, maintaining, installing, removing, and replacing.
• Carpentry work such as constructing and repairing woodwork, drywall, windows, hardware, furniture and equipment.
• Install, remove, replace vinyl, rubber flooring, tiles and glazing.
• Remove and replace acoustical ceiling tiles and grid.
• Build custom wood structures and erect scaffolding and forms.
• Plan work layout with independent judgment and follow instructions.
• Assist on projects involving system installations and repair requests.
• Prepare material and tool estimates and maintain records.
