Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for the Rockwall, TX location on the day shift (M-F, 7:00 am–4:00 pm). The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of production equipment using electrical, mechanical and control-system skills.

Qualified candidates should have a two-year associate degree in an electrical-related field (a plus) and at least five years of industrial maintenance electrician experience.

Qualifications

Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus.
Minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair production equipment.
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Read drawings, schematics and electrical code specs to determine layout and installations.
Install, replace and repair wiring, conduits, lighting and electrical components.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and calibrate instrumentation as needed.
Assist and train production staff in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
