Aerotek is hiring a Machinery Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire role in Tualatin, Oregon. The position focuses on routine and advanced maintenance of electrically controlled and mechanically actuated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The day shift runs 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential swing shift options. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and uptime across the facility.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience on production equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and systems.
- Rebuild equipment by replacing bearings, seals, shafts, and other components.
- Replace major machine components including linear guides and servo motors.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and diagnose root causes.
- Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, during maintenance tasks.
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks with minimal direction.
