Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Day Shift Machine Operator based in Houston, TX. The role reports to a Supervisor and includes setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting production machines to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to read blueprints. Lean manufacturing experience is a plus; overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as a Machine Operator is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a production machine per procedures.
• Inspect parts and adjust toolings to meet specs.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to position machinery.
• Monitor multiple machines and maintain quality output.
• Complete daily production and quality inspections.
