Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Machine Operator for the night shift in Houston, TX. The role runs 6:00pm to 2:00am, Monday through Friday, with a base pay of $18.50 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Reporting to the night shift supervisor, you will set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot on assigned machines to meet quality specs. The ideal candidate has prior machine operator experience, understands production procedures, can read blueprints, and works well in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Machine Operator is a plus.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a production machine according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Adjusts machine settings to meet specifications and timelines.
• Performs pre-operation checks for proper startup on multiple pieces of equipment.
• Operates/monitors multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality production.
• Completes daily production, quality and safety inspections.
