Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to recruit a 1st Machine Operator. The role supports the production department, focusing on reliability, safety, and precision in machine operation.

The successful candidate will operate resistance welding machines, brake presses, and mechanical power presses, complete the Operator Maintenance Program within 90 days, and meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment at all times.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement reading.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines including resistance welding machines, brake presses, and mechanical power presses.
• Complete the Operator Maintenance Program (OMP) for assigned machines within the first ninety (90) days of employment.
• Consistently meet production requirements to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Identify unsafe conditions or defective products and take corrective actions to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
