Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a production operator in Lithia Springs, GA. Shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You will operate line equipment, read production orders, and help achieve quality and safety targets.

The role requires 1 year of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and willingness to overtime or weekends. Full-time with benefits from day one and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in safe and efficient operation
• Familiar with line equipment, processes and procedures
• Detail and quality oriented
• Dependable and energetic
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word)
• Experience with hand tools and measuring devices
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds continually
• Forklift and Crane experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operates machine and instructs line help to meet production goals
• Support Safe Work environment and complete observations
• Inspect equipment for safety
• Read and understand production orders
• Meet productivity and quality requirements
• Use forklift, crane, and manual handling of materials
• Document materials produced accurately
• Maintain communication with team, supervisor and management
• Maintain promotability to Operator II/III
• Stand and walk 8 to 12 hours daily
• Climb on/off equipment and ladders as needed
• Work in varying outdoor conditions (hot, cold, rain, shine)
