DHR Health in McAllen, Texas is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time day shift in the pre-admit area. The LVN will assist the registered nurse in providing patient care and operate as part of the pre-operative team, performing routine duties under supervision.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LVN program, current BLS/CPR certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of vocational nursing required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Willingness to be crossed trained to other areas.
• Organizational skills is necessary.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians.
• Prefer hospital experience.

Responsabilités

• Detailed history taking of peri-operative patients.
