Oblate Madonna Residence in San Antonio, TX seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct patient care, under the Nursing Supervisor's direction. The role requires Texas LVN licensure and 2+ years of clinical experience, with day and night shifts available on-site.

The LVN will assess health status, implement plans of care, document accurately, and supervise unlicensed staff while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication with residents and families.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited LVN school.
• Current Texas LVN license.
• Two years of clinical experience.

Mansioni

• Provides delegated nursing care and functions as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
• Assesses residents' health status and follows the plan of care.
• Maintains clear communication through the Chain of Command and with physicians, families, and administration.
• Supervises unlicensed health care personnel.
• Documents medical information accurately in records.
• Acts as liaison between residents, physicians and administration when needed.
• Assists residents and families with care and maintains confidentiality and respect.
• Remains on property during meals and will be paid meal breaks.
• Fulfills own paid meal breaks as needed and maintains regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
