Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Texas to service and maintain heavy industrial equipment. You will perform lubrication, cleaning and maintenance of fixed equipment including conveyors, screens, and a blending tunnel.

As part of the maintenance team, you will conduct routine inspections, maintain service logs, assist with preventative maintenance, and support mechanics with basic repairs, while following all safety procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing heavy industrial equipment in a surface mine or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of lubrication systems, conveyors, and preventative maintenance.
• Strong safety commitment and ability to follow mining regulations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform lubrication, cleaning and maintenance of fixed equipment including conveyors, screens, and a blending tunnel.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate service logs and communicate equipment status to maintenance and operations teams.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and support mechanics with basic repairs.
• Follow all site-specific underground safety procedures, including ventilation, confined space, and hazardous material protocols.
