Job summary

Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 7a-7p shift. You will administer medications, provide wound care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include vital signs, documentation in EMR, and clear communication with residents and families. Prior long-term care experience and strong interpersonal skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Provide wound care and manage wound healing
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Conduct routine vital signs and monitor resident conditions
• Document resident care and progress in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and medications
• Perform other duties as assigned by the RN or DON
