Job summary

The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, TX is hiring a full-time Day Shift LPN to join our nursing team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, participate in care planning, and ensure safety and quality standards in our clinical setting.

Ideal candidates have an approved LPN/LVN program, CPR certification, and 1+ year of relevant experience; de-escalation training is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within a recovery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of clients under supervision.
• Assists in health and psychiatric teaching for client and family; role model for clients and peers.
• Participates in planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Communicates with medical staff, accepts orders, and participates in team conferences.
• Prepares, administers, records medications per policy with documentation.
• Observes and reports to RN/Supervisor any issues affecting client care.
• Documents nursing care with detail; follows facility policies.
• Safely performs vital signs, labs, ECGs, phlebotomy, and diabetes monitoring.
